Steps to Download SolidWorks for Free in 2020 Where can I download Solidworks for free? If you have not yet activated your SolidNetWork license, you are asked if you want to activate it now. Start SolidNetWork License Manager ( Start > Programs > SOLIDWORKS version > SolidNetWork License Manager > SolidNetWork License Manager). Select SOLIDWORKS Product Version (1), click on the SOLIDWORKS tab (2) and finally select the service pack you want to download by clicking on “Edition”(3).

The Client Portal opens in the “Download” tab, click on “Downloads and Updates”.
